This print celebrates the flowery abundance of a midsummer day in the garden. The striking lilac snapdragon first caught my eye, and I paired it with scented lilies of a similar colour.  Glistening, not-quite-ripe raspberries and dusky blueberries were gathered too, along with an intricately crafted bird’s nest and feathers, abandoned in a garden hedge. A few shells from trips to the magical pacific northwest coastline make an appearance here too.  It was a time of plenty and I wanted to make the most of it.
